Not able to race the Wycombe 10k because the earliest train from London Waterloo arrives at 9:30.
Would it not have been possible to organise the race with this in mind, and have a starting time of 10:30?

Abingdon Marathon, 18 October
PAUL MARTELLETTI (Victoria Park & Tower Hamlets) was a clear winner of the men’s race in 2:28.37 while Sam Amend (Handy Cross) was first women home in 19th place in 2:45.38 running over 16 minutes faster than her previous best.
Impressive though your time is - 16 minutes is correct!?

Disappointing to travel all the way for this 10k race and find a marshal not on their post. A least 5 went the wrong way because of this struggling up a another hill in error. Not one word of apology from the marshal in question when she eventually reappeared. Positions and prizes lost because of this.
I heard some even wanting their money back. Will this happen?
