Hey whats up, i lived in san antonio texas in a house that was once used for a battle here called the rosillo battle....on the se side of town. we used to live in this old house. my mom dad..3 other brothers my sister and i. well i was like 16 or 17 years old at the time. i stayed up later then the rest of my family on this particular night. i went outside cuz i wanted to smoke a cigarrete and i had to hide because i didnt want my dad to get up and catch me so i went outside and i left the door open and i stood there smoking a cigarrete in the dark looking in once in a while making sure my dad wouldnt catch me. well as i turned to stare inside i saw this shadow...a black figure who was more or less about 5 feet 4 inches tall walking towards the door. at first i thought..dang my dad caught me smoking so i turned my cigarrette off and i saw the shadow grab for the door..it was dark inside cuz everyone was asleep...but i could still see the shadow...i saw it grab for the door...i saw the door kind of closing i thought it was my dad going to close the door and lock me out so i pushed on it...thinking it was my dad trying to close the door...but when i pushed it..the door just swung open. I went inside...i went to my parents room...both were asleep..i went to my brother's rooms and my sisters' room they were all asleep....i still dont understand what it was i saw but i know it wasnt human. later on in the future my brother told me he saw the same shadow i saw...and that area is very haunted..i mean we used to hear wagons and horses and chains and the feeling like we were being watched and doors slamming and the tv turning off and on its crazy. we were so used to it we just ignored it...but i havent seen anything since then that was unusual...except that i found a grave nearby where i live by now. thats crazy right.

There is a haunted library in my hometown. there was once a house where the library is now and, just today (Dec. 17,2003) I was alone in the building and I heard swishing behind me heading towards the front of the Library. a while later I had heard the sound of footsteps going in the opposite direction. headed to the back door.

alright it was about 6:00am and my mom was making coffee and all of the sudden these 4 scratch marks just start bleeding and wouldnt stop then her coffee pot went fling across the kithen It was SCARY but kool

Deidra: Thanks for sharing your ghost story! I have not experienced what you have, but know what you saw is often called "shadow people." They are not to be feared, as they are people...but my theory is they are in darkness (lack of understanding truth), which is not a permanent state. Truth is light and I believe that is why we see both types in photographs...some being "enlightened" (light) as to who they are; others darkened (not comprehending the truth of who they are, yet).

hello i thought i would let u know about a very strange thing that happened to me .you see i used to live in a houce in cleves ,oh with my grandpa it wasnt only i ,my family too!while we lived there i never felt comfortable .i always felt as if someone was watching me .well any way one night while i was laying on a matress on the living room floor in the house in the darkness.i happened to look up at the tv which at the time was turned off and seen a dark shadow figure slide down the doorway to the dinig room. the only light in the house that was on was the kitchen in which the dorr to that room was exactily in the same spot on the opposite wall.it frightened me so bad that i turned to look sat the doorway and saw nothing .til this dayi still get chills of thinking of that very night.i swear on my entire life excistence that i seen the devil or whatever it was. please if anyone has everhad something remotely simalar contact me or post it somewhere .thank you!

I have never seen a ghost but have felt their presence as "goosebumps." Also, I have felt a "wind" blow upon me and on the back of my neck at times...and have heard them speak to me as thoughts - sometimes even audible. I know ghosts (are spirits) are people on the other side.
