“I see young people waiting for the next US hundred dollars to be sent by their overseas relatives instead of working." That US$100 is going directly into the guyanese economy - Mr. President.

I felt so proud to be a Guyanese when i saw the carifesta programme on your SITE . just made me home sick.I will never miss carifesta again. It was so good to see Guyana come alive..The activities were interesting especially the plays and cultural activities put on by the visiting delegations, not forgetting the visual arts as well. It is quite surprising that the Big events hosted in Guyana was excludes from the front page in the papers, Mashramani, Emmancipation Festival, Kite Flying, Bartica Regatta, Lethem Rodeo and the town days in Linden and New Amsterdam just to name a few....I love Guyana,my home..
