I was born in Lincoln in 1947 and took the RAE there in 1961. I didn't take the Morse test, so I've not held a license till last year - first M6GRP, then 2E0GRP and now M0GRP.
I moved away from Lincoln when I was 18, but I used to visit my parents regularly and other relatives, including John Birkett, my mother's cousin, when I needed parts for my projects.
I remember hearing FRED in his shop in the days when he sold amateur gear.

Thanks for updating and putting the website back on air. I still think of the repeater as being your baby we are just keeping it going in your absence.
