My Dad worked for the mine from 1952 to 1965. His name was Ted Holpainen and we lived in Creighton. Dad passed away in April of 1994. I have good memories of growing up in that area.

I really enjoyed your description of Flin Flon. I have never had the opportunity to visit Flin Flon but I do hear about the many activities in the area from my cousin. I am amazed about all the events and sites available to tourists. Maybe one day I will get the opportunity to visit your city. JT
