Julia Brimo is the most underrated jockey in the entire Woodbine colony. If she were to ride the same horses that Patrick Husbands, Emma Wilson, and Tyler Pizzaro ride she would be a Top 5 rider. Its a shame that somebody with her class doesn't get a fair opportunity. Fans and other riders need to realize that it isn't the rider but the Horse that wins the races....

Chantal Sutherland is a very beautiful lady and just oozes with class and treats her fans with care and always has a smile for us also. There is one female jockey who is stoneface all the time to her fans and I will not mention her name but everyone knows who she is and that is a shame.

Love this site! I have been in love with thoroughbred racing since I was a kid. Now I rehab ex-racers and give them a second career. I hope in the future to take a couple of two year olds that I bred, to the track and with the KD. Well if you going to dream you might as well dream big! Nice to see a site for the female jockey. I have a daughter who is beginning her life passion as a jockey. She is down in Lexington excercising at Keeneland and trying to get that first break! I will make sure and let her know about your site. I can't wait to make the trip to watch her "first race" with a "bug".

Was at the Woodbine track and got several autographs of the female jockeys and Chantal Sutherland and Julia Brimo were the most nicest and caring of their fans.They asked how I was doing and Julia said to come see her the next time she is riding and she will give me a picture.All of the female jockeys that i got autographs from made me feel that i was not disturbing them. They handled the intrusion with class. But now i am a more Chantal Sutherland and Julia Brimo fan for the way they were concerned with how I was doing as opposed to the others who just simply signed. But I understand they were to be busy.But those two were exceptional.You go ladies.

What a fantastic and unique website. I am a painter...it turns out that one of my favorite subjects is thoroughbred horseracing. Somehow I've done more of these than any other. But the insight brought to this place by the riders you've interviewed has really brought the spectacle of this sport home to me. Great site. keep up this work you're doing. I've saved it as a favorite...just to delve into the many interviews again. WELL DONE !
