Hi I like your site. My sister was a jockey at Mountianeer Park (then Waterford Park) in WV during the 70's and 80's. (Deb Geer/Lakin) She rode at many other parks across the US during that time. It is a VERY tough sport. I worked in the barns and took the horses to the track while in high school. I watched my sister ride every race. It is so incredibley tough!!! Every rider deserves the utmost respect for participating in this tough sport--the women had it even harder in those years. Carol Lakin

I am a student at a horse racing academy and i love your site. KEEP IT UP! I was reading one of your interviews and it said that "it is really hard to get rides because some trainers think male jockeys are better" I agree with the statement that it is really hard to get rides but luckly i´m in a good yard with a great trainer! LOVE THE SITE!
