Hello
I understand that DISA is in the process of closing down. GRSNNZ took over from the former support group GRASP in NZ in 2001, and were given permission to use and alter the information they originally prepared to keep it current.
At the moment we have a link to the Dealing with Health Professionals article on DISA's website which we think is well written and useful information. Would we be able to gain permission to reproduce this article on Crying Over Spilt Milk and in print as needed? It would be a shame to see it disappear. We would of course label the article with DISA's or the author's copyright.
Sorry to hear that DISA is closing.
Regards

3rd boy with reflux and multiple protein allergies. Thank you for the info and for allowing me to read other's stories. It is so helpful to read that I am not the only one stumbling through infant/toddlerhood with my baby! Thank you!

Cheers to webmaster, but I would prefer dark blue color theme... it's not that I have any relations with gays (nor do I disapprove of them), just like the color. And yeah, recently I discovered a nice little trick of preventing almost all kinds of spam, and that's a double requirement for verification, the second comes after the post is submitted... well it's up to you whether to immlement it or not. Good luck to y'all! Sincerely yours, Paula from Luxembourg.

I have never signed a guest book but this is a great site full of useful information. Our first son had reflux which we treated with Infant Gaviscon and AR formula - it seemed to work but as a result he also had problems with doing a poo and created other problems. Unfortunately our second baby boy was born with a club foot and was put into plaster when he was 2 days old, had an operation at 9 weeks old and went into special 'boots & bar' at 11 weeks old. He is now 13 weeks old. I thought his excessive crying, refusal of feeds, arching his back, poor sleep, kicking etc was from the discomfort & maybe some pain from his plaster and boots, but after reading the site I am now convinced he has some form of reflux - which can be treated. I hope it is reflux as we are going crazy and not handling the situation well. Thanks for letting me ramble and thanks for the information available on this fantastic site. Keep up the good work.
