Hi, I'm the Great Granddaughter of Pvt. Joseph Edward Kirk - 34th BTL 1AIF - France, his granddaughter Lorraine is my mother. We just found the archives regarding his service with the 1AIF @ the Australian National Archive, we have been looking for my grandfather Kenneth Lawrence Kirk's information as we know little about his active service during WW2 but my brother found our great grandfather instead. But we would like more information on our great grandfather & also would like to find our grand father but we are having alot of trouble, how do we go about it ?? We don't know much well actually nothing about G'Grandfather until this find apart from some personal details my mother remembers her dad telling her when she was very young. If someone could tell me which other websites & establishments were we could write too. Would be very appreciate .. Thanks, Joy
