I wholly concur with the derisive comments about the National Service medal. I was Nasho in the 3rd intake 1953. I am eligible for one but would be
ashamed to claim it. Its a bad joke brought on by the abolition of the Imperial Honours.
Great site and should be more widely read especially in schools.
