I enjoyed your site. I was a flt. medic with the 63rd Med. Det. in Landsthul Germany in the early 80's then with the 82nd Med. Det. out of Ft. Riley KS. I never crewed in the UH-60. This site helped my son to better understand what DUSTOFF was all about.

thanks for the pictures of all the unit badges and awards. my grandfather fought in wwII and im trying to piece his uniform together and your site helped me identify the ruptured duck badge on his coat but still looking for some more info on unit patches if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. i served as well with the 82nd airborne division 2nd/504th p.i.r.

My father, Sgt. John E. Dunn, served in WW II in the 503rd Regiment. When we were little kids walking thru airports he would laugh because of the shrapnel thoughout his body setting off the alarms. He is gone now and I miss him dearly. I thank him and every service person for my freedom today.
