Hi This site is brilliant, thank you for helping me fill in some gaps about our war effort. I would like to know if you know who wrote that Poem about Foo, Foo is special to me because my Grand Dad was in the Airforce in Darwin during WWII and My grandma used to say Foo was here alot. I've only learned from this site just how significant Foo/Kilroy/Chad was and that he was much more than just a random scribble cheers Leah

I have always loved the " SPIT" as i have been told that my fathers brother used to fly them in Brittan during the war, at some small air base near Dover UK , but to me they have a great sounding motor and it is not one that you'd soon forget. Thanks to the guys who fly in them if it weren't for you England would be ruled by Hitler and his cronnies!!
