Hi. I edit the Alaska Trails e-newsletter and was wondering if I could mention your webpage in the newsletter? Eric

Hey Micah, I don't know if you check this site anymore, but I just had to comment on it. I spent hours in awe of your pictures. I especially liked the pictures of your trip up Eagle Peak as well as your flight-seeing trips. Spending the first ten years of my life staring across at Eagle Peak every morning from the breakfast table has left a permenant imprint of it on my mind. I have always wondered what it would be like to summit it. It's a goal of mine to get back up there and do it some time. A very belated congrats to you and Alex, from the very brief time I spent with you two in the summer of 04 you seem like the perfect couple. By the way, if you ever get a chance to do any hiking in the Canadian Rockies do it. Take care. - Pete Stanulonis

I am looking for advice on a recommended non-technical hiking route to the summit of Homicide Peak in the Chugach Mountains. Is it best to swing around the south side of the peak and work up from there? I'll be coming over Powerline Pass after climbing Avalanche Peak. My only other info is from a photo I took from the summit of North Suicide Peak and it looks like the south and southwest approach look the safest and most doable for a hiker type climb. Thanks!

Thanks. I have neglected to provide Tripod with some new account information, and they have hence begun advertising on my site. Rest assured, once I get a bit more time to work out these kinks, the site will be pop-up free and updated with new trips, photos, and database information. Thanks for the feedback.

I think the fact that you have popup ads on your otherwise pretty cool website is beyond lame. Having regular ads is bad enough, but allowing popups is absolutely reprehensible. You should be ashamed.

Micah, I always enjoy your site but it's really hit hard by the spam! Dave Gahm and I climbed Bold Peak in early June 2005 and then Eagle Peak in July. I have photos but not sure of your e-mail address.

Loved your site and the Chugach area. I was just up there. Do you know where I can get my hands on some of the "I (heart) the Chugach" bumper stickers?

Just wanted to let you know I really enjoyed looking at your pics, I also sent your website info to my sister who lives in Colorado. She did the Harding Icefield climb at Exit Glacier when she visited 2 years ago so I know she will enjoy your site. i look forward to more in the future. I've always done more pics of wildlife but am inspired to do more scenery.
