Would it be fair to say that Ms. Carmello is one of the most underappreciated leading musical comedy artists today? She brings a wonderful wistfull quality that no one else has. I first fell in love with her as Audrey in Little Shop of.... in Boston and later adored her in a supporting role in Pal Joey, where she blew everyone else off the stage except the also wonderful Donna Murphy who was playing Vera (unfortunately the Joey was not in their league). Ms. Carmello's contributions to Fine and Dandy are immeasurable, and this time the supporting cast are all up to her level. I wish producers recording forgotten musicals would not forget the always wonderful Carole Carmello

Hello Ms. Carmello,
I just came back home to the carolinas with the most wonderful memories of your performance as the role of Donna in Mamma Mia. My uncle treated me to my first broadway show for my 18th birthday. You were spectacular and I hope I will hear you sing in the future :)

Hi, I am an aspiring young actress
from Massachusetts, and I hope to
someday act and sing on Broadway. I
just got the opportunity to see Ms.
Carmello for the first time on
Saturday, February 12th's Mamma Mia!
matinee. I was extremely impressed. I
had never heard Carolee sing before,
but I was very familiar with the songs
of ABBA. The show was fantastic, and I
was completely blown away by Ms.
Carmello's performance. She is
extremely talented and I look forward
to seeing more of her. You can count
me as a new fan!

I just wanted to tell you how wonderful you are and how jealous I am of your career and life! I know you've worked hard for it all though. I was just wondering if you have any tips for me? I am an aspiring musical theatre performer. I am a huge fan of you and your husband. You are such an inspiring couple. Please tell him that I saw him tonight in "Wonderful
Town" and that he truly made the show for me. He is just amazing to watch, as you always are. Anyhow, I think you are one of the best female performers of our generation and someone for all of us to look up to. Thank you for continuing to share your gifts. Always a fan, Susan
