Wow, have I enjoyed your recordings and
also your performance in Parade. And I was
really surprised to be surfing onto the game
show channel and there you were - I think -
on Family Feud! Am I right? It was a
wonderfully animated performance.
Am going to see Urinetown this weekend as
it tours through E. Lansing. Wish you were in
it!
Another question: is your husband from
Michigan? I heard a story that he worked at
Greenfield Village in Dearborn, MI, at one
time. And someone told me it was the same
time that I worked there - so this is just a
followup. I may have gotten this from Bob
Lambert (Tulsa in the Tyne Daly Gypsy,
currently casting associate for All My
Children, and was in the tour of Big River
that also played at the Wharton, E. Lansing,
MI, so many years ago.
Thanks again - keep on giving back to us,
your audiences and fans.

Hey,
I'm a future musical theatre major at University Of Michigan, and I've been told that a great way to put myself out there as a performer is to have a professional website that has my headshot and resumé. I don't know if Ms. Carmello will ever read this, but if she does, I want her to know that she is my inspiration. I saw Parade at the International Thespian Festival in Lincoln Nebraska and immediately afterward I went out and bought the CD. One of the best purchases I have ever made, and that's saying a lot since teenagers buy a lot of stupid stuff that we think is cool at the time but then it gets old and what do you do with really baggy pants in neon green? Anyway, I swear I'm not insane, I just love theatre (but I repeat myself). If Ms. Carmello or the coordinators of this fabulous site do chance to read this, could someone possibly email me and give me some help in starting up a webpage of my own? Or, if not, give me a name of someone who can? I'd be forever grateful. I can verify my credentials by sending my resumé and headshot. My email address is at the top, please consider my request. Either way, this website is amazing, and Ms. Carmello is a spectacular performer, her chameleon-like ability in each different role she plays continues to stun and motivate me to push myself to become half the success that she is. Congratulations. Thank you for inspiring me. :)

Hello. I am playing Lucille Frank in my school's production of Parade. I am very excited. I think Carolee is one of the best performers around. I hope I can do the role justice.

Dear Carolle, i just wanted to congratulate you for your excellent performance in Urinetown. You have one of the gratest voices i've ever heard!!! I'm a 17-year-old actress/singer, and getting to perform as you do is (and will be) almost impossible...but i'll keep trying...any tips? Hope to see you on-stage in my next trip to NYC. wish u the best!

Dear Carolee, Hello Darling! I just moved from NYC to a suburb in CT to teach dance. A local theatre co. is doing Parade and I've been cast as Lucille. You did it beyond flawlessly and I was wondering if you had any words of wisdom. Thanks! I hope I can pull it off.

I just saw Urinetown last night; Row C Orchestra, and Ms. Pennywise is now my all-time favorite character because of the outstanding Carolee Carmello. She added such a dimension to the production that I never wanted it to end. Congrats to not only Ms. Carmello, but to the whole cast of Urinetown. I highly recommend you go and see this hilarious musical that makes the entire audience laugh throughout the entire show!
