Hi Carolee, Saw MM 3/30 matinee and you were beyond spectacular. Your depth of tone and range equaled and surpassed any live performance I have ever witnessed. ( Barbra, Eder, Bernadette, Angela ( great performer ) Patti, Georgia Brown, others..) This was my 4th time but I hadn,t seen it in 4/5 years and my friends had never been. Just fantastic! I went on youtube to listen to you ( Anytime..Do you see what I see..) and was disappointed because on both you were too nasal. ( especially Anytime ) Yesterday's performance your range evolved from your lower register/diaphragm. Low notes and high. Has a vocal coach tweaked your technique?? It was almost operatic!! ( Listen to a young M. Feinstein and then the trained M Feinstein if I am not expressing myself well enough ) By the way you are READY for Feinsteins...Opening act at any gaming mecca in country....and with some out of town or smaller venue solo gigs in 6/18 months there's a Linda Eder marquee with your name on it on Broadway. ( Perhaps you and Bryan stokes Mitchell..very hot!!! ) O.K.....What do we need?? You have little to no name recognition..I deeply regret I did not know you...Shame on me!! Do you have a publicist? Does he/she realize you are the top musical female talent in the country?? Do you want to take a giant step? Have you constucted a one person show? Have you fine tuned your material? ( DON'T get too eclectic...Give the public, your NEW audience WHAT THEY WANT!!!!!! Broadway standards and the classics. ( Gershwin..Porter..Berlin..Kern..Rodgers..Sondheim..Herman..etc. I can give an assist on content and performance. ( I have directed and produced numerous public school musicals ) ( First play I did was 1776 ..A Great play.. (" write to me with sentimental effusion let me revel in romantic illusion"......Great book and lyrics. Best of luck!! It would be great to hear from you...
