Hi Ms. Carmello, Just wanted to tell you how much my sister and I enjoyed your performance last Thursday night at "Mamma Mia." We both laughed and cried in equal parts. I got tix for the show for my sister's visit to the city, and had no idea really what the show was about other than that it was based on ABBA songs. We grew up listening to ABBA because my mom was a great fan. Not to lay our sob story on you, but the two of us were kidnapped by our dad when we were preschoolers, and didn't see our mom until we were in junior high. Once we were all reunited, my mom (whose name is Dona) invited us to stay with her during Xmas and summer vacations -- and we happily accepted. Of all the wonderful times we spent with her, the very best were the winter afternoons when we would snuggle up under a blanket, sip hot cups of tea and sing along to Mom's ABBA album. Your character especially brought those afternoons back -- our beautiful, red-headed mother who always lived in the moment, who was stubbornly independent in an era when women had only started down that road. My sister and I were having some cognitive dissonance there for a while when you were on stage! All that said, you were an eyeful! Gorgeous voice, beautiful to behold, and by far the best thing about the entire production! More power to you! teeberg

The recording of "Take Me As I Am" with Anthony Warlow is about the most perfect song recording I have ever heard in my 57 years! Your voices blend perfectly and the song always gives me multidudes of chills no matter how many times I hear it. A truly glorious voice, much underutilized. Please record more!!!! Don

Carolee. It was a pleasure in seeing you in LESTAT as Gabrielle. You were amazing. I wish I could've seen it again in New York City but sadly it closed too soon. We saw the show late JAN. I agree with the previous post, Carolee was fabulous and i would like to buy the soundtrack BUT solely from the NYC Mamma Mia show with her singing. Loved it. Any links would be appreciated.
