Just a little something for us to practice ready for the bus trip to and from Harrogate :-) xxxx
'Twas on a Monday morning
When I beheld my darling,
She looked so neat and charming
In ev'ry high degree.
She looked so neat and nimble, O,
A-washing of her linen, O,
|: Dashing away with the smoothing iron, :|
She stole my heart away.
'Twas on a Tuesday morning
When I beheld my darling,
She looked so neat and charming
In ev'ry high degree.
She looked so neat and nimble, O,
A-hanging out her linen, O
|: Dashing away with the smoothing iron, :|
She stole my heart away.
'Twas on a Wednesday morning . .
A-starching of her linen . . . .
'Twas on a Thursday morning . . . .
A-ironing of her linen . . . .
'Twas on a Friday morning . . . .
A-folding of her linen . . . .
'Twas on a Saturday morning . . . .
A-airing of her linen . . . .
'Twas on a Sunday morning . . . .
A-wearing of her linen . . . .

HI all, sorry it took me so long to post, but ive been watching all the video. I think lionheart was in retrospect a mistake. Ill take that one folks, however share my yoke was extraordinarily good, awesome cornet playing and really excellent ensemble. Not a wobble in intonation or execution. Gealforce was just that, a technical tour de force that was exciting and realy well played. Jo the flugel was stunning as was the euph and cornet playing at M and beyond. I am very proud of the movement forward we took. I guess we could have played all hru the night as well...theres just no reward i guess for upping the ante. Nver mind folks onward and upward to harrogate....thanks folks I would rather have played what we played anc came last than play crap and win
Lyndon....nearly in france playing with the big fishies

Congratulations ALL, your performance at the eisteddfod was brilliant. Auntie Lulu, you sounded outstanding! Results don’t always represent the playing, and sometimes adjudicators get it VERY wrong! Well done on producing an entertaining programme. (…ps Lulu, your Toni and Guy hair products work a treat… your hair looks shiny, shiny, shiny on TV!!!)

Well done to all the Junior Band Players who attended the Summer School. The concert was a great success and very much appreciated by the audience. You all worked so hard and I am still buzzing from the concert and from the summer school. A big thankyou to Sharon, Martin, Anna, Damian, Andrew, Lyndon and Jan for your magnificent support. Also to Ian for organising the concert and doing all sorts of other stuff as well. Finally big big thankyou to Penny and Lana for all your help.
See you all on Monday!
