So glad to have found you! I sang with a group you mentored called "The Pastels" at First Southern Baptist Church in Del City, OK where John Bisagno was pastor. We did "Starlite Crusade" at the Del City High School football stadium. Ric & Lauren were just little fellows. You nicknamed me "wrong way Corrigan" but most of all I remember what an influence you and Ed had on my life as a young woman. Hello Miss Bette. Was so happy to see your birthday pics posted! Wanted to share what happened this evening. I didn't know what the date was, Deb called me, 4/19/11 is Dad's 9th "Heaven" Birthday. I met my hubby for a quick dinner out, had forgotten to power off my iPod (about 350 songs). As soon as I started it, "Precious Memories" (from your album of course) started playing :-)) Usually that's been Momma's 'song'- God always knows the exact time for everything! I first heard you sing at FBC Grenada, Mississippi in the mid to late 1960's. Remember being around you a lot and visiting with you and your husband with his red lined jacket. You must have spent a week there. It was not just a run into and out of town concert. You must have stayed a week with your Paschal relatives and entertained us all week long. I'm sure I took pictures too. At that time I was making slides and so I must dig out the old slides and see if I can find them. I believe people come to our minds for a reason. God put you on my mind months ago and I could not remember your name. Got that yesterday from Grenada friends and sent you letter today with check and request for 4 CD's. Can't wait to once again listen to "The King of Love My Shepherd Is" God Bless you and your family and your health and your ministery.

Hi Bette. So glad I found your website, and I have ordered 3 of your CD's tonight. I could not find a CD with my favorite songs however, Sweet Holy Spirit and another that I can't recall the name right now. Those were wonderful times when we went to SBC in Philadelphia, and came back to Valdese for the city-wide revival in the outdoor theater. I will never forget the week that my girls and I spent with your family in Stone Mt. GA, do you remember? Is the Ric on Kandi Kain's Danes your Ric?
