History repeats itself 30 years later: I remember chatting to Arther Ramm at a gig in Grangetown workingmen's Club in the 70's when he first had Paul Kossoff's Les Paul Whoo he let me play it!!!!... Now the Sensational Alex Harvey Band are back together and Zal sounding better than ever now!! (took a couple of years to wipe away the cobwebs)... And now I find out my little Bro Colin has joined Beckett... What more could you ever want for Xmas than to go to one of those gigs back home in the UK... Hi, Great to see you are still around and gigging. I remember the first time I heard you at the Caird Hall in Dundee supporting (if I'm right) Slade! You blew me & my mates away, and the next day I ran around Dundee record shops looking for your album! Finally found it but then lost it when I moved to London, tracked it down in a second hand shop some years later, lost that as well. Would be great if you could release it on cd! Hopefully get to see you sometime, married a South Shields lass and we get up that way a couple of times a year. Keep Rockin'!!!

Well i've now been named as the new stick man with Beckett.We are in rehersals at the moment and things are going well.Must point out it's great to be working with true pro,s and looking forward to getting on the road with the band,and I must say what a great bunch and true muso,s they are.Look forward to seeing you all at the gigs in due time.

Hi guys Mark Richardson the drummer here, just been recalling the fact that I used to love coming to see the band as a teenager. Really sorry to hear about Alan I know he'll be deeply missed and by everyone, he was such a friendly guy who used to champion my drumming when I was bit younger. I used to go and see the band at The Marquee in the 70's with my mate Adrian (who's now in Iron Maiden)and I still have an original copy of your album. Thought you'd packed it in years ago until I came across your website tonight. So sorry to hear the sad news about Alan. My sincere condolences to his family and the band.
