The 16th annual Austin Powwow was the best! Great food, great dancing, great people. The American Indian culture is such a beautiful and special one, and I'm so glad that Austin has something like this to honor them.

I love the Austin Powwow! It reminds of home in Oklahoma where I grew up. I'm reminded of the innocence and purity of Powwow...and it's free! Just like they all used to be. I love how often the people can dance together! Yes, there are dance competitions but not to where it overshadows the people's chance to dance together! And that reminds me of when the people danced mostly at he powwow's and the competitions were not so overshadowing. Plus, my family and friends really enjoy the Non-Indian competition! It's our highlight! Thank you so much for working so hard at bringing such beauty together for so many in the community and throughout. And thanks for the memories! Sincerely, Elizabeth
