I have a pair of silver and (green)enamelled AO - FB cufflinks, given to me by my father (he was born 1901 in Manchester) I have lived all my life knowing of the name of the Ancient Order of Froth Blowers - but until today, not knowing what they were all about ! JH August 2009

My late Father was a member (No212837) and I note in 'Shoeburyness A History' on pg88 Fig 106, the proprietor of the Shoebury Tavern in the 1930s, Fred Desborough, was also a member and used the fact in the pub's adverts.

My husband Leslie Keith Golding has a single silver and blue enamel A.O.F.B cufflink which he inherited from his father Leslie Ernest Golding, who died approximately l947.
