Always thought the American Legion was a private club???? Don't enjoy going there with my veteran spouse, as it seems like all the locals can go there, drink cheap, and not contribute a thing to any veterans' causes! Some of these "locals" are somewhat undesirable characters. Officers really need to rethink what takes place there. It is perceived as a "rowdy" joint; it should be perceived as a respectable Veterans' organization.

Although I haven't sent any response mail, it's mostly because of how inconvenient it is for us. Rest assured though, what you've been doing for us is greatly appreciated, and the guys in my squad give their thanks also.
