Loved the teacup story. My grandmother and grandmother had teacup collections, but I had never heard the saying you quoted. Loved the symbolism. Great story!

I hope I am not the first one in 2011 to sign your guestbook! Anyway, I read you Christmas (flags) Linen story on ICFW. As soon as I saw your photo, memories of my week in Tibet came floating to the surface. Tibetan Buddhists use prayer flags in hopes that their prayers will be carried to the heavens.
I loved your teacup story, too!
Best Regards from the Adirondack Mtns. of NY

I just finished The Man For Her... It left me longing to read ore about Lottie and Sean O'Conner! My mom NEVER reads. She used to get fussy with me when I would read around her. All of a sudden she began reading books... And she found your book The Man For Her and she will not stop boasting about it =)
She brags about you and... Sean (lol) to everyone she meets. I have been reading since I was a little kid. I thought I knew who was the best author in my opinion. But you proved me wrong. I am sad that I only seen 2 books by you. You are a great writer, and it is just a tease that there is not another book on Lottie and Sean.
You might get this alot but.. We would absolutely love it if there might be a making in a sequal to The Man For Her. Perhaps her sister comes to live with her... And of course you gotta have a little bit of "damsel in disstress" =)
Please if possible send me a message on the news. I am crossing my fingers!
You are a great writer! Please continue! I am looking forward to reading Her One and Only.
thank you!

Alice, I went to your website out of curiosity after reading your interview of N. J. Lindquist for the ICFW. I love a good historical romance and decided to try "Her One and Only" because it looked interesting and was available for Kindle. I still read "real" books, but love being able to increase the font size on the Kindle. I look forward to reading your book.

love the photo, Alice. And yes, I agree with you - e readers are here to stay. Apparently sales of e-books outnumbered traditional books on Amazon on Boxing Day. Obviously lots of people received Kindles for Christmas.

Just finished "The Man for Her". What a satisfying read. I found Biblical undertones/references that gave the story more depth.
