I happened on this site a few months back and decided to include a photo given to me by a 2nd Cousin the photo was of my Mother and Owen Parker 2/26 Battalion Owen Parker was not my Father but may well have been if things had turned out differently my Mother received a Telegram saying he was missing presumed dead and so she married my Father so I thought it was fitting to include his photo on the site as there was none I don't know what happened to Owen Parker but if someone reads this and knows of him or what happened to him please contact me my Sister and I would like to know Thanks again for a wonderful insite into this Brisbane Battalion
