hello tristan, what a brace of superb posts! are you on some serious narcs or what? this is a site about the federal republic of swansea not elvis presley so unfortunately i do not have a club and nor can i give you a badge. i can however, i think, live without elvis in my life as i always consider the music of the knitterfelder blas to be much better. well i hope the study goes well and that the rocking sikh or perhaps the ginger elvis fill in your questionnaire for you. as for performing in hull/scarborough, i missed the opportunity last week as i was away gettign slammed in salzburg and i think scarborough are in the conference so i don't know when we'll play those next.

Hey there,
My name is Tristan Bearman, and I am a student of Hull University. I am researching Elvis and his outstanding affects that he had on his fans, and the world.
I have been a little premature and forwarded you a general Questionnaire to complete, the point of this is to try and understand the pro's of being an Elvis fan, and the effects that has on your life.
I am currently studying Theatre Studies, and it would be a fantasic research tool when writing my disertation.
Many thanks, i look forward to hearing from you soon.
Your truly
Tristan Bearman
P.S: Is there any chance that you could be perfoming in Scarborough/Hull soon soon?

Thanks anon,
I can now sleep at night I've seen the same type of bubbles in the river Ely in the Eastern block must be the same thing!(Unless they've got Squid!)

i can tell you that the bubbles spotted in the lower reaches of the Tawe are de-salinator pumps - due to the barrage being built in the marina, salty sea-water enters the tawe over the top of the barrage in high-tide but the salt in the water then sinks to the bottom of the tawe and cannot escape back to sea over the barrage, causing a build-up of salt in the tawe (bad for river-life). Hence, de-salinator pumps 'stir up' the water allowing the salt to escape back to sea. Bet you're really glad you asked now !!!
