I would like to express my thanks for this website. A year has just passed since a friend of mine took his life and I'm finding it hard to concentrate on anything else. Reading the stories in this site has helped. I was oblivious as to how many people are affected by the tragedy of suicides, I'm not alone. I miss you Nath, everything reminds me of you!

...I read a few of the stories on this website that made me more than just think about where I stand…Most everyone who lost someone to suicide wrote how much they miss them, and how they could not imagine what was it, that made them take their own life. And so, why is it, that when someone dies all the positive aspects of them are revealed. Why wait until that moment to focus on the qualities that made them special…

My daughter took her life on 12/09/2006, aged just 14. This was a life changing experience for us, her parents, her sister and her friends and many continue to struggle with the fact she's gone. Teen suicide is a serious issue but unfortunately ignored by the mainstream media and by politics. It is important that we create the necessary awareness in the general public.

Hi, my 25 yr old brother took his life on 14th of November 2006. It was such a shock to everyone. I had sent him a text message asking him could I ring him to have a chat on the morning he shot himself. If only I had rang him earlier instead of texting him. Just maybe I could of stopped him.
