My beautiful, wonderful sister Belinda took her life in October 2000. I am glad to have finally found a place where I can read about other families and friends of suicide victims. It makes me feel less alone. I am open to any emails from anyone wanting to discuss my experiences or theirs concerning this, the most horrible grief there is.

I lost my twin brother 13:1:2001 Was an electrical engineer, under lots of stress
from working towards olympics.Bipolar disorder & delusions was the illness.
between uneducated police, & negligent psych doctors, there was no hope.We need to band together to save lives that they just treat as another #. Put our anger into positive action.
blessed be

My brother-in-law commited suicide 14 months ago. It was his third attempt. The signs were there, although you feel so helpless in what you can do to help. It is a shame that there is such a stigma attached to something so important. No death easy to cope with, suicide is no exception - the question of why is always there.

I work in a university with young people under severe stress. Some see suicide as a way of coping. Please contact me as I would like to get involved. Keep up the great work of raising the profile of these issues.

congratulations on an extraordinary site. we are among the very fortunate ones (my son has had seven unsuccessful suicide attempts)but i know we have a reprieve rather than a cure - you have set in motion the means for this disease to be tackled publicly, giving us all hope - well done. bev

My son completed suicide in October 1996 in hindsight we had warnings but were not able to recognise them.
There is a good support group here in Geelong through the Wesley Centre that has helped me. I was not aware of your organisation
