This is A Wonderful Site I have lost family Members to Suicide and also been very close myself in the last few years I.m one of the lucky ones I had a voice in the Mental Health System. Its time that the Government Improved Services and Make available safe Not the scarry places they have Now for People to get help ! The system is wrong and Families and Parents should have access to information re there Loved Ones How Many More Lives must be lost !! I saw your display at a Shopping Centre. I lost my brother to suicide. It was an overwhelming feeling knowing how this has affected so many people. My brother was 28years old and he shot himself. I picked up some information and I will become a member of this very worthwhile cause. Its not easy coping as I found my brother and I am having nightmares. I wish this never happened. I loved him so much. XXXX

What a wonderful wonderful display that was at our local Shopping Centre in Toowoomba. I commend your organisation for it's work. It is about time that someone got off their backsides and are doing something about this terrible tragedy. Toowoomba has had many suicides and I hope this brings the realisation that we must try to do something to stop what is happening. If only our politicians suffered like we do then something may change. Good Luck and keep up the good work.

I am 26 years old and have tried many suicide attempts since I was 18. I am determined to never try it again but sometimes the pain of depression is so strong i am scared I will try again and will be successful. I am beginning to see that there is some hope in the world. I am going to support your organisation in any way I can as people need to be educated about suicide prevention

I lost my Brother on Australia Day this year. He was only 26 yrs old. I miss him very much and feel so sad and particularly guilty because I didn't see the signs. I am a nurse who has cared for patients with depression, but I failed my brother. I am told by many that it didn't happen because of my lack of action but I feel that If I could have reached out it may have been the stepping stone he needed. I will never know. I am slowly accepting his death and I feel that I want to be able to help others that are contemplating suicide. I have only just found out about this organisation today (8 wks after the fact) which goes to show that public awareness is very little. When I am ready I intend to contact the organisation and volunteer in any way I can.
