I've discovered that my new lurcher pup Sioux has Sooty Sam genes from both parents but isn't a pure whippet as she also has bedlington terrier and norfolk type deerhound in her, so I'm told. She has the exact same markings as Meg with the white tail tip, white socks and chest.Although she's only 8 weeks old she has the same bodyshape but alot could change in the next few months! I was previously unware of line breeding but its begun to fascinate me.From what I've read about Sooty Sam, I can expect great things from Sioux in the future: Dartmoor rabbits beware!
