Here we are on the 1st anniversary of that day. "The day that changed
America" - but did it really? I walk a double-edged sword every day.
My
partner and I are lucky enough to be legally married, but not without
having to out her as a transgendered woman, not without stripping her
of
her dignity. This is a path we walk every day - being out in the new
America that was born out of the 9/11 tragedy. But I am lucky - we
walk
this path together, I don't have to grieve for losing her, and I don't
have to love her in silence. To all of my sisters and brothers who
lost
their loved ones - I care about your loss. You are not alone. Blessed
Be!

Just ordinary people on a day doing what you did on
any ordinary day. In a blink of the eye you were taken
and all our lives were changed. There will never be a
time when we won't think of you and honor your memory.
My gay and lesbian brothers & sisters how my heart
aches for the loss of you. I love you and I promise to
honor your memory now and for the rest of my life. You
are my heros. God bless us all.

My heart aches for the victims and surviving friends, family and co-workers
of those affected by the September 11th terrorist attacks.
This is truly one of those events that I cannot/will not understand.
God Bless us all.

Oh my god, I was already crying and when I saw the note about
Reed's pin, I burst into tears!!!Thank you thank you! The
site is truly incredible, what a great job you have
done...the sad part is that we are still not really free to
be ourselves, and grieve publicly and out in the open!My
heart is breaking for everyone! Thank god for you to help us
get thru this and to change things!!I am praying for a
realization of the truth to these scum who call themselves
Americans...land of the free, my rosy red butt!!I love you

I was going to ignore 9/11 this year because I didn't want to subject
myself to all the self-serving politicians who will use the anniversary
to try to convince everyone that they're caring and concerned. Thanks
to your site, I don't have to ignore it. Thanks for reminding me of
what's worth remembering. And thank you for telling the stories that
don't get told in the mainstream press.

This website is fantastic. Being a hetero, and having a gay bestfriend, it makes me so happy to see that not all people are homophobic. It sickens me to think that there are such ignorant people out there in the world today. With all the worries of terrorism, why would people even waste a second judging others when they should only judge themselves for being so close-minded to others and their lifestyles.
