Hi, I was a friend of tiny's in the few years before his murder. i just wanted to say the wrongful death lawsuit that was voluntarily dismissed last year has been reinstated. i hope it doesn't shake out that it's okay to kill folks who are different than you. or prepunish them for what might happen. no one is that smart. though way too many folks think their sensibilities are universal edicts. anyway FYI. '82 FLH, 93" stroker shovel.

I simply cannot believe that a sworn law enforcement officer, his boss (the Sheriff), the District Attorney, AND the Highway Patrol have YET to indict "Mr" coe for this murder. And murder is exactly what it was. There can be NO excuse for any 4-wheeled vehicle ramming a motorcycle to the extent that the bike is crushed under the car. WHERE IN HELL IS JUSTICE? It just goes to prove to me that "Law" and "Justice" are not the same...never will be. Every biker in North Carolina should be incensed over this!!

First of all my heart goes out to Tiny's family and friends. Now, on to why I am writing. It seems that the only thing the sheriffs dept. is guilty of is maybe bad training and not having the proper policy in place concerning vehicle pursuits. Although it seems that Tiny committed a minor traffic violation he also could have caused any number of accidents. Would we all feel different if one of those cars he passed was full of kids and was run off the road killing all of them? Lets be honest with each other Tiny broke the law and all he had to do was STOP! If he would of stopped then he would be alive today. To charge the deputy with a crime in my opinion would be wrong. Had he not stopped Tiny when he did, then the next turn could have been a head on collision with a family in a mini-van. I am not trying to trample on Tiny as a person however in this case he was clearly wrong. And maybe if he had been clear headed and not high he would have stopped. I have been riding motorcycles for about a year now and if it is one thing that I have noticed it is that riding irresponsibly will get you killed, period.
