My condolences to the family and friends of Tiny. There is no excuse for what the cop did, he saw an infraction of a motor vehicle traffic law, and there was no need for a pursuit with an act of aggression, trying to run him off the road, and then to run him over and then not know it, and then call in that the suspect had fled the scene? Something aint right! Was the cop tested after this fatal killing? There should be an independent investigation on this, and its very disturbing that a week after the death that all this other crap is coming to the surface and dosent make a difference in the fact that the cop rammed, ran over, and killed a man. No trial, No Jury, No Judge, Just an Execution! R.I.P. Tiny, Love and Respect, Dusty

This should be settled in a public court. It's too easy to brush under the rug, if it isn't made public. It's interesting that the meth lab story didn't surface for a week. Probable cause???? RIP Tiny

Put your self in our shoes. We have no father, husband, son, brother, and uncle. So is it just that deputy Coe killed him. Common sense tells you to never bump a motorcycle. All I can say is that we love you and will miss you. But, we know you will watch over us and guide us in the right direction. Love You, Your Family

My preliminary thoughts: This was a low speed chase(read: not stopping for a law enforcement officer that he had just been hit by until he is in the public eye or has witnesses). Tiny should have been followed until he either stoppped or wrecked on his own(this is common sense ofr every law enforcement officer I've talked to on this matter so far). Bad choice in Tiny not stoppping for the cop? Maybe, maybe not!? Bad choice in the cop not keeping assured clear distance(at a minimum) with a motorcycle involved? You bet your ass... he killed biker with excessive force while in the position of authority, without clear knowledge of anything more then a traffic violation prior to the fatal accident. For those of you that think Rodney Coe is justified in any way for Tiny not stopping for him(after he had been hit by him once already)... I ask you this ---> How are you goanna feel when it's your child, neice, nephew, little brother, elderly parent etc. that makes a lapse in judgement or is unsure of it being safe to stop and is run over by an officer or deputy??? (think about your own family memebers personally making this judgement for any reason before you answer this to yourself). I know this isn't a first and certainly won't be a last.. but if this is allowed to happen in Asheboro, NC now... it may be allowed and go unpunished tommorow in your town to someone close to you. You can try and teach people proper judgement and to never make faulty actions when in a position like this, or you can hope that the officials you've hired with your money are able to make sound judgement in their actions concerning others that might not have such good judgement under stress. Thank god I have good cops in my town! My final thoughts: A very big hearted brother of mine is dead, his wife and children are left without any type of justification and riding with him will never again be an option of mine! RIP Tiny... I am the "web mistress" that has provided you with this information & the ability to let your opinion be known. This entire ordeal disgusts me as I think the cop used unwarranted deadly force. My x-husband is a cop & I have a very clear understanding of what they are taught. I think this cop used poor judgment & should be appropriately disciplined. I wanted everyone to know where I stand. I will continue to track what is being reported by the news media. I am purposely not adding my comments to the web page, as everyone should form their own opinion. Those of us close to the situation know how we feel about it. I personally am interested to see what everyone else thinks & why. Thanks for listening.
