I ran into Scott from Christian Academy last night and talked w/ him for a minute and he asked me if I knew about Sam and told me what happened. I know it's a little belated but I just really wanted to let you guys, Mr. and Mrs. Steinmetz and Rachael, know that you have my deepest sympathies. Scott and I talked about Sam and those days back at Christian Academy for a while and I just felt such a deep sadness. I used to babysit Sammy and Rachel. I still have the 5 x 7 professional photographer's picture they gave me (it was SOO cute!). It's in a scrapbook I keep. I went to school with Jason, and Debbie was my "charm" class teacher at the same school. I have fond memories of the Steinmetz family and send blessings to each one today.
