my son has just spent the last 3 days in hospital as a result of a spider bite It ulcerated and surgery was needed to flush out the wound it was quite severe with the ulcer only a millimeter from his tendon. He has been on intervenous antibiotics for 3 days. He could have lost his finger, all this happened in the space of a week. the doctors say he may be off work for another 2 weeks. I think he is lucky thru quick action of doctors

I have apparently had what seems like a white tailed spider bite on my right palm on the ball of my thumb. It has now broken out into the 6 blister like lumps with another two appearing on the inside of my right forearm.
As some of the other guests have stated, it is a very painful and seems to act somewhat like a neurotoxin with the occurrence of pain all the way up my right side to the right ear.
Is there a recommended 'natural' way to best treat this spider's bite?

Hi all.... about 6 months ago i was bitten by a spider.... my doctor told me it must have been a white tail because of the aggressive nature of the bite... it took nearly 6 weeks for it to heal enough for me to get back to work (it was on my arm by the way)... my whole arm, neck and lymp nodes in my underarms and grion were all swollen and red and burned from the inside out... i couldnt even touch anything with my hand for weeks the pain was that bad.. it was awful... BUT since then i have been getting similiar (although alot smaller) blisters on my leg and just recently on my stomach (all on the side of my bite) just wondering if anyone else has had similar... cause its bloody annoying and i cant think of any other reason i'm genrally healthy as.... if you can help Email me please with anything
Cheers

Do you people know that whitetail spiders are harmless? The tissue death often associated with a whitetail bite is in fact caused by the brown recluse spider which is easily mistaken for a whitetail.
