Hi Mike,
Have been trying to reach you for a couple of days at the number listed on your reunion registration form: (703)790 - 2269, but all circuits have been busy for over two days now. Also tried your e-mail (mrobertson@ussreeves.net), but it came back to me undelivered. Please give me a call. Need to know if I can still invite 2 more people to your banquet. Thanks, Bill S. (760) 721 - 6504.

Looking for anyone who knew Fireman Madison from "B" Division. Forgot his first name. Trying to contact him and any other "BT's" or any other crew members onboard from Nov. 1985 till Aug. 1989. Also, ET1 Chuck Horne, where is he?

Was higlined aboard Aug 19th,1967 off Saigon
after catching a ride on the Chipola AO -63 from
Subic Bay. Rode her back to Bath, Maine. Was
transfered to the USS Waddell DDG-24 for another
tour on the gunline in Vietnam. Unusual to be on
two ships with the same hull number. Got out in
1970 as an RD2. Hi to my old shipmates , Dave
Schlice, Dave Holtz and Glenn Roark

Hi guys. Although I was never actually assigned to the Reeves I feel like I was. About four months out of internship I found myself TAD from DESRON 7 / CTF 75 to the Reeves as North SAR medical officer. When you got to go back to Pearl Harbor in '73 I got to stay in the Gulf of Tonkin. But it was a great time while I was there. I had a sea story of a less than fun time encounter with Capt. Lee Baggett on the old web site but it has apparently gone into cyberspace and lost. That man could melt granite with his stare.

I proudly served on the finest cruiser ever to sail in the Seventh Fleet - The warship Reeves - from 1984 to 1988, OI division. OSSA - OS3 Ken Buchanan. Here it is, many years later, I'm a Master Chief, still serving; and I never would have gotten where I am, or still be in, if it wasn't for the oustanding Sailors I served with on the USS Reeves-CG 24. "Outstanding leadership was a common virtue"
