I served as an MM1 onboard REEVES from 84-97. I started in M-Div #2 ER and then transferred to A-gang. I see a lot of familiar names in the log and it is great to remember a lot of my ole shipmates. REEVES was a pivatol tour for me where I matured a lot, learned a lot, had fun sailing 7th Fleet, and most important - I met my wife of 21 years now in the Philippines. I'm currently finishing up my 30 year career in the navy and will retire in the spring. Hope to hear from my fellow shipmates.

Spent 2 years aboard the best ship in the Navy mid 65 to mid 67 on her first deployment to Asia. Hawaii Subic Bay Japan The Tonkin Gulf and may long tourn on South and North SAR. I remember Lt Keene. Chief Luhers , Rich Brodt. Ron MacTough Gary Kuhel Tony Palm and most of all Capt Wentworth Those were great times with a great ctrew on a great ship. Drop me a line.

It's nice to read all these names and places this ship's been and seen. Alot of good times and alot of tough ones to. But it made us the men we are today. Thanks for the memories Reeves and all you great IRONMEN who served her. To Capt. Center....one last "Five Star Day!!!!"

Hello all Reeves' Ironmen Shipmates. I served in the "Only Cruiser in town" from 84-87. I f anyone has a copy of the cruise books from those time frames please let me know. I lost all my memorabilia years ago. I reported as a GMMSN and left a well seasoned GMM2. I retired finally after 24 years in Aug '06 as a GMC(SW).
