Wow just Emailed six guys i haven't seen in 25 years. I served on the Reeves from 81 t0 83 with Jackie James and Timmie Toal, up on the Signal Bridge. Unfortunately, the drink got the better of me(not to mention other substances.)But those were great days and great times I will never forget. My humblest apologies go out to those I hurt. My addiction got the best of me and I lost some good friends. I hope you guys read this and understand. Sobriety has been an awesome experience and I have 16 years continuous sobriety now. Take Care! Tim Saunders (aka Barnacle) PS. YO JOBO, SM Smitty, Baker Smitty, you guys around?

I was a Midshipman in the summer of 1967 on board Reeves for USNA summer cruise. Due to shortage of officers, I was given the BM division, so I didn't get much of my cruise syllabus done. But had the best experience possible. In 1993, in Command of USS Nevada (SSBN733), we passed Reeves in the Pearl Harbor channel. It was good to see my old cruise ship strill ready to go get 'em! Thanks for the memories.

Served on the Mighty Reeves from July 76 to 12/79 as an FTM. Deployed on WestPac 77. My "Reeves" Beer mug still resides in a place of honor. Interested in hearing from anyone serving on board during those years.

Served onboard from July 89 - March 92. Served as Missles Officer/First LT/Navigator. Learned more about being a SWO during this tour than my other 3 sea tours combined. Cliche"ish," but in this instance, the good times, without a doubt, clearly outweighed the bad. Will proudly tout "Ironman" status to anyone that asks about memorable sea tours. I look forward to the next reunion and an opportunity to reconnect with former shipmates.
