Served on REEVES from 88-91, left there as on OS2(SW) and now am a retired OSCS. "Real men don't ride on gas turbine ships". Capt. McKinley came to retirement ceremony and I told the story about that halloween day that we were bombed by LTjg Pual Frantsau(sp), flying Switchbox 206, that was a hell of a hole. I served on four different ships through my carrer and the REEVES was the best. I have more memories from REEVES that the other three ships combined. I also will never forget "101 Arabian nights with Wild Bill and the Iron Men". Glad to see the old gang sticks together.

I left when she went into the yards in Pearl.

Served a short period on USS Reeves in the Gulf of Tonkin and visited Hong Kong and the PI aboard her in 1982. I enjoyed the CPO mess.
