i am a plank owner would like to know if any other plank owners and still care about BLDG 24 as the yard birds called her because she was in the yard in bremerton so long she was outdated by she was comm. so all of us were transfered and she back to the yard for refiting sure would like to know where the guys who went to comm school and up to beremton and comm her are now thanx gordy mott 519 66 72 DK2 USN but i was an SN when i reported to the REEVES in SD take care GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS

I had too much fun at the penny bar and champion bar in Yokuska ....Gulf of Tonkin most of the time . The trip from Long Beach to Alcopolco , Panama , Bahamas , Ft Lauderdale , Bath Maine was a trip to remember for a lifetime.
The trip down under , just prior , to
Sydney , Australia and Christ Church ,
New Zealand was a gas.

I was on the reeves from 81-82 as a gmm.The drugs and drinking had me for a long time and I am sorry to a lot of peaple most of all a chef barranet. i was messed up then and lost a good thing.I would like to here from any one from those days.There was a gmm named smith I would like to here from any help?

2006 FOX DIV Reunion * July 28-30 * The date is set for the 4th Annual 'Das Cruiser' reunion extravaganza. This years' reunion will again be held in South Haven, MI on the grounds of the stately Canning estate. 1 hour north of South Bend, IN or an easy 2hr drive from Chicago O'Hare. We started doing this for FOX div 85-90 era but all of our shipmates are welcome, it always proves to be a lot of fun. Contact Robb at rscanning@btc-bci.com for details. Hope to see you there. Served onboard from Feb 1990 to decom. Man those were some great times. Waikiki on the weekends with Chad Wilson, Keith Antipow, Zimm, Tony....and a whole slew of others. Cut my teeth as a Damage Controlman working under Scott Silk, Ed Grandal, and John Walls....thanks guys!! Finally left Hawaii after 14 years in 2004. Currently the DCC onboard USS Carl Vinson.
