I crossdecked form the Worden to the Reeves. I was a DS2. I was given the job of throwing the "Going into the Yard Party" when we dry docked in Yoko. forward deployed '79-'83. I Would like to get in touch with shipmates DS? Ed Solis, OS? Joe Bracken, SM? Timmy Toal, MM? Emmett Massie, HT? Carl Cramer, SK? Rodrigo Catacutan.

Was stationed aboard FEB 82-SEP 84 All in Yoko. Checked in as a non designated fireman recruit left as an HT2. Nice to see some familliar names on the web site. Currently serving aboard USS Frank Cable.

Served on board as a BT in #2 Fireroom from JUL80-JUN86. Retired in Jun99 as a BTC having spent 16 of my 20 in Japan. 8 in Yoko and 8 in Sasebo. Some people called it WESPAC, I called it home! Steaming boilers for UofWI now.

I was a ETSN on the then DLG-24 in Pearl in 74/75. For 20 years I have been trying unsuccessfully to locate another ET on board at the time -- Paul Olsen (or maybe Olson). Good to see a new web site. Mike Cash's was good but sad to see it disappeared. Had a great time on board the "Only Crusier In Town". Hope there can be a reunion. I had the opportunity to do two tours on Reeves first as a MM1& MMC in Main Control from 1966 to 1968.Then from 1984 to 1987 as Aux.Officer.Ican honestly say she was the finest ship,with the best crew on both occasions.
