Assigned to Main Control. Also M-Div supply PO, and Water King. GQ station, Repair 5. Lots of good memories, good people, and some tense times. Had it better than most, I grew up on Oahu. My parents had a house in Ewa Beach.

The Reeves was a growing point for me and i would just like to say hello to everyone that still trys to hang there. i also believe that we should try to start some type of reunion every now and then...i served on board the Reeves from 89 to 92..as Rm3(sw)..i would like to say if you didnt know that Rm1 Walker ppassed away a few years ago, so my blessing go out to his family....guys lets try to stay in touch because this means a lot, we have shared a lot in which people that never experienced the reeves would never know

Great website. I served onboard the Reeves from '85-'87 as an SH. Spent most of the time as the ship's barber. I remember when we first took on the name, Reeves Ironmen, but can't remember the Capt that made it up - even the t-shirts. I remember how I couldn't wait to get out of the Navy when I was onboard, but now I miss the old ship.
