Good to see the Reeves page like the ship was, back in Action. I was a late Worden/ Reeves cross-decker 82-85 and went back 88-90 and retired 12/90. Working at Ingalls Shipbuilding teaching DC to Precom crews for DDG's and LHD's.

Reported to the USS Reeves in June, 1965. Departed ship in March 1967. Have very fond memories of the shipmates I served with. Worked on the Fwd Missile Radar with Sr. Chief Williamson, Chief Cooper, Charlie Langlois, Jack Babb, J.C. Keene, Jon Billington. Also aboard were Gary Nance, John Odell, John Brenneke, Ron Bartlett and more. Have often wondered what happened to a lot of my shipmates over the years. I stayed in the Navy for 20 yrs. Retired in 1983. Feel free to e-mail me.

Thank you to all who are responsible for this web page. I was a plank owner as Navigator in Reeves, from commissioning until Late 1966. A fine Ship with a fine Crew. Made first deployments to WESPAC with many fine memories of this Ship. Remained on active duty for 30 years , retiring in 1975. Would love to attend a reunion!!

I was one of those lucky and fortunate OS's (at the time I was an OS2) who crossdecked from the Worden (CG-18) to the Reeves. I have many fond memories and stories of my tour on board. A great tour of duty. The Cruiser Navy is the only way to go!!
