I was on the USS Reeves when she got out of Bath Maine. We went from Maine to Hawaii where we were home ported. I left the Reeves in July 1971 when I got out of the Navy. My rank was SH-3.

Wow looking at this site brings back so many great memories from so long ago. I stop and think of the first time I saw the Reeves pulling into Pearl after a weekly ops. A young seaman waiting for his first time at sea and lucky for me it was DLG-24. I remember so many guys and yet seem so unaware of so many more. I boarded her in Nov.71 and cruised with her until aboard her until July 4, 1975. Fond meomories of deck and first div.will be with me until my days have come to an end...so long mighty Reeves as your legacy will loom larger with each sea story related to you...I hope her final dipsposition was swift and final...good to see all the names of the alumni of a great man of war.

Hey you all salts, I hope you remember me, I was the sps-49 Radar Tech, I believe the years were 88-91 at Yokosuka, Japan. I was that EveryThing tech and I got my ESWS there. A Blonde tech with a can-do attitude. I really miss the guys and times with Wild Bill Center and the Pirate brigade. I am suprised if the FC's still have their rings. ;) Well, give me a shout out and if you don't remember, I was also the Punk Rocker and worked with Roush. Later shipmates and I married a mexican Aztec not a Pilipina. Good Times

Visited the sight once again after being away for a while. Was an OS onboard 87-90. Just wondering if anyone had a line on Brian "the Bumbler" Damron. Would like to see a reunion.
