Served on her from JUL82 till AUG86 in #1 Engineroom. Out of six ships I served on including present one she was the best. Always will remember "The Only Cruiser In Town" motto. Good times in Japan with good shipmates.

I served on her from 81 through 86. Most people knew me as Huggy Bear and others as OS2. Great crew and times. I have a few pictures of the Reeves and crew. She was used as a target during Tandum Trust 2001 off the coast of Australia.

I reported aboard in July of 79 and stayed until October 82. What better sea tour could you ask for. Half in Hawaii, and half in Yoko. Many great memories and many great shipmates. John Ford and I were the two Chief FT's. The fantail was a good sea detail in Pearl but it was colder than hell in Yoko. Remember Chinhae?

Served on the U.S.S. Reeves from Dec.'89-Feb.'93. I was 17 years old when I reported on-board in Yokosuka Japan. 'Sought Flipper' at the demands of a sha'le'li weilding shell-back in '90. Must plead the fifth on the rest of it. Had the time of my life! What a ship! What a crew!

MM2 from Nov87-Nov89. The best time's of my life were on the Reeves. I loved the ship because it steamed. Spent musch time at sea, especially in the Persian Gulf. Was on board when the REEVES was accidently bombed near Diego Garcia in late 89. Have many pictures and would love to get together with my fellow REEVES IRONMEN.
