I was stationed at HRMD Yokosuka from 1980 to 1982 and was involved in an effort to orient women to shipboard life. Took a two week cruise on the Reeves with about 15 enlisted women. Was a lot of fun to get to know all the guys! COuldn't get to be underway much but did qualify as OOD-Inport. Maybe someone will remember me.

What's up Ironmen? It's really great to have a website like this. I served onboard Uss Reeves from Sept. 86-88, in great ole OI division. (What's up Driscoll). Capt. "Wild" Bill Center was da man. The crew was the best crew I ever served with. My best times in the Navy were onboard the Reeves, from the steel beach picnics to smokers to that swim call in the IO. Hope everyone is doing well. I was the resident site TV operator and fan tail DJ. Had a great time with the crew playing music during our cook outs in the Indian Ocean 89-90. Enjoyed the short stay in Diego after the bombing, a relief. Can't forget the P.I. or Japan. Happy Trails to all............All for one.
