The REEVES was my 1st command after GM "C" School and is still to this day my favorite command. I made it up to CPO and then became an Officer (LDO). Looking forward to touching base with any old shipmates.

I served on Reeves from May 1965 untill April 1968. I arrived as a seaman apprentice and left as a YN2 on COMDESRON 9 Staff. Would like to hear from anyone who served during that time period.

My first ship - Japan May 1981 til Sept 1985. Many fond memories and lots of great parties. Grew up on the REEVES! Migrated to a frigate and then destroyer and Retired in Oct 1999.
