The Gleasons also live in Texas. Retired in 71 and lived in England. Daughter Linda met and married John Bowman who was at RAFW.

Stationed at RAFW, Dates: April 1967 - October 1970Assignment:: 20th Field Maintenance Squadron Orderly Room Comments: I enjoyed being station at RAF Wethersfield in the late sixtys. I got married at the Church of the Holy Spirit, Great Bardfield in 1969 and we are coming back this May 8, 2001 to visit the church and hopefully gain access to the base to look around. My roommates were AlC Raul Escontrias from Eagle Pass, Texas and AlC Kenneth Huhtala from South Dakota. I would love to know where they are today. My squadron commander was Captain Alvin Gentz, maintenance officer was Captain Wilson and Vestal and CMSgt T I am going back to RAFW this May and would appreciate if anyone can tell me if I have to have a special permit to gain access to the base since it now a police training base?
