Visited Wethersfield on 14 July 2009 as part of our 50th Anniversary walk down memory lane. Police gave us an escort and we toured the base. Everyone was very gracious. PE and FMS hangers still there as is the gym,chapel, and base theater. Base being used as an anti-terrorist training facility. Was stationed there from 57-60 first in FMS as the A&E officer and then when we went under AFM 66-1 in the A&E squadron.

Visited the guest book. It was nice to see my name Warren. The pics you took brought back a flood of great memories. Especially the one of pick up and delivery. Right where I got busted.

Was stationed there from 1962-66. Married a local girl from the very small village of Sturmer! Was in Munitions Maintenace(Nuclear). Have visited it often, over the years.

hi just updating my email; hi i am looking for bob and sandra mac/mc daniel who were stationed at raf wethersfield late 60's early 70's, they are my godparents ,my mother was josie farrant and she had/has a sister called marie, we all lived in steeple bumpstead, sadly my mother passed away in 1970 and i was adopted, i am looking for my natural father and believe they may be able to help me in my search, i was reunited with marie over 20 years ago, and from info given believe my fathers name to be wayne, he was a canadian in the usaf,and stationed at rafw in 66-68 maybe?? i would appreciate any help anyone could give me as rafw seemed to be a pretty tightknit community back then, thank you....
