I am especially interested in learning more about David Peebles of Fife, Scotland and Charles City/Prince George Co., VA. I am a direct descendant of The Peebles ans the Bairds. My line is from William III (Peebles), and John Baird through his son, E. Baird. Dr O. H. Baird was my paternal grandfather. He was buried at Spring Hill Cem. in Sussex County, VA.

I am Linda's oldest daughter and came across her site by accident. I did not know that much about her genealogy hobby but as read all of the comments it fills me with great pride, and comfort to know her love of history/genealogy helped so many people. Is with great sorrow that I must inform everyone that my mom passed on July 4th in Shasta Lake City, Calif. She would've enjoyed knowing that so many people was able to get the info. that they needed from her site.
